Project Narrative: Located in one of Casper’s historic downtown neighborhoods, this 1920s Craftsman was rich in soul but inhibited by a fragmented layout. Our clients—avid collectors of vintage cameras and vinyl with a deep affinity for "mid mod" style—needed a home that functioned as a social hub for entertaining. The original architecture featured a massive central wall that completely severed the kitchen from the living experience. Our goal was to keep the character while performing a structural shift to make the space livable for their modern lifestyle. We also updated the main floor bathroom.

The Design Approach: We removed the primary dividing wall to create a fluid, open-concept floor plan. To preserve the purity of the new sight lines, we utilized a hood integrated into the ceiling above the range, avoiding a bulky installation that would have obstructed the visual flow. The palette is a sophisticated dialogue between the home’s historic bones and the clients' playful aesthetic, featuring interesting tile and geometric wallpaper that serves as a curated backdrop for their art.

• The Pantry Narrative: We flipped the color story in the pantry, using bold blue cabinetry paired with an organic, "petal" backsplash that feels like a soft, geometric mosaic.

• Architectural Flow: Every light fixture was selected to mirror the shapes and "vibe" of the clients' collections, ensuring a cohesive through-line from the kitchen pendants to the dining area.

• Bathroom Remodel: We replaced the tiniest vanity in the world (not even kidding!) with a precision-planned bathroom layout, replacing a dated clawfoot tub with a functional shower and a relocated vanity to allow for shared use and privacy.
